Dhaka, Jan. 8 -- New Batting Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team John Lewis arrived in the city on Thursday. Head Coach of Bangladesh team Raussell Domingo, Pace Bowling Coach Ottis Gibson, Fielding Coach Ryan Cook have not yet reached Bangladesh. John Lewis will start his campaign for the Tigers amid the first ODI against West Indies in the first ODI on January 20. John Lewis have to take in few day's quarantine before starting his work as he came from England, where coronavirus-situation is very serious.

Earlier, Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Akram Khan said, " We cannot get Lewis for a long time for this condition. We shall watch his coaching. If he does well we shall keep him."
