Srinagar, Oct. 27 -- The Jammu and Kashmir police Chief Dilbag Singh said on Wednesday that law and order situation has shown a marked improvement in the last three years and the "street violence" and the favourite "Bandh call culture" of separatists has almost ended completely in the Union Territory.

Singh made these remarks while giving insights about the security scenario in J&K to the Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture Meenakshi Lekhi, who was on a visit to Kashmir as part of the government's outreach programme, a police spokesperson said.
