SRINAGAR, Nov. 26 -- The Supreme Court Monday adjourned hearing on a batch of petitions-including one of Kashmir-based Editor Anuradha Basin and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad-challenging Kashmir's communication shut down till today (Tuesday) at the request of the Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta.

The Court had earlier rebuked Mehta for "not giving enough attention'' to the case at hand and even asked the Jammu & Kashmir administration, to respond to all the contentions raised by the petitioners on the restrictions imposed following the abrogation of Article 370.
