Srinagar, Feb. 10 -- Cancer is a major health concern and has been increasing in recent years. It has claimed countless lives, as it is a deadly disease, depending on the stage at which it is diagnosed. According to a report published in the National Library of Medicine, the estimated number of incident cases of cancer in India for the year 2022 was 1,461,427. Lung and breast cancers were the most affected areas in males and females, respectively. The report also highlights that "one in nine people" are likely to develop cancer in their lifetime.
