Srinagar, Sept. 28 -- A civilian, who was critically injured in an explosion near encounter site in Sirhama area of Anantnag on Friday, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital here on Monday.

34-year-old Mohammad Yaseen Rather, who was undergoing treatment at SMHS hospital here from last three days, lost the battle with life in the wee hours of Monday, official sources told Kashmir Observer.

Rather is survived by his widow, two minor daughters aged 5 and 2 besides his father. His mother is said to have passed away a few years ago.
