SHOPIAN, July 7 -- on the occasion of World Zoonoses Day, District Surveillance Unit, Shopian, successfully organized a joint coordination meeting-cum-awareness programme at the Meeting Hall, Mini-Secretariat, Shopian.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Health and Animal Husbandry Department, and other line departments with the aim of raising awareness about Zoonotic Diseases - diseases transmitted from animals to humans - and to promote better coordination among departments for their prevention and control.
