Jaipur, May 20 -- Anuradha Paswan, a 32-year-old woman accused of marrying and robbing over 25 men, has been arrested by Sawai Madhopur Police in a decoy operation. Dubbed the "looteri dulhan", she allegedly fled with jewellery and cash worth lakhs after tricking families into fake marriages.
According to police, Paswan posed as a poor woman looking for marriage, with an accomplice posing as a matchmaker. Once a marriage was arranged, she would perform the rituals and live with the groom's family, only to flee days later after sedating them and stealing valuables.
One of her recent victims, Vishnu Sharma of Sawai Madhopur, said he took a loan to marry her on April 20. Within two weeks, she fled with jewellery worth Rs.1.25 lakh, Rs.30,0...
