Bengaluru, June 2 -- A 28-year-old woman employed at a technology firm has been booked by police for allegedly abusing and assaulting an autorickshaw driver with a slipper in Bengaluru's Bellandur area on Friday. The incident, which was captured on video and widely circulated on social media, shows the woman repeatedly hitting the auto driver as he tries to film the altercation.

Identified as Pankhuri Mishra, a native of Bihar, the woman reportedly turned up at Bellandur police station on Sunday morning and was questioned by police officials before being released on station bail.
