Srinagar, May 23 -- WhatsApp has officially rolled out its voice chat feature to all group chats, expanding the function beyond large groups. The Meta-owned messaging platform says the update allows users to join live group audio conversations without leaving the chat or initiating a traditional voice call.

Now available across both Android and iOS devices, voice chats offer a more flexible, non-intrusive way to communicate. Unlike regular calls, they won't ring participants - instead, group members can join or leave at will. The voice chat stays pinned at the bottom of the chat screen for quick access to controls and participant details.
