Srinagar, March 27 -- Jammu and Kashmir government dismissed five employees from service for their alleged involvement in the narcotics trade, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
According to official sources, the dismissed employees include Abdul Rashid Bhat, a Gang Coolie in the Irrigation & Flood Control Division, Sumbal; Dilbag Singh, a Lineman in Jal Shakti (PHE) Sub-Division, Hiranagar; Gulzar Ahmed, an Assistant Motorman in Hydraulic Division, Ramban; Noor Mohammad Sheikh, a Gang Coolie in Ferozpora Basin, Irrigation Division, Tangmarg; and Gulzar Ahmad Dar, a Jamadar in the Irrigation Division, Shopian.
