SRINAGAR, March 15 -- Vice Chairman (V.C), Lakes Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA), Shahid Saleem Dar, on Saturday chaired a high-level meeting to review the Dal and Nigeen lakes conservation plan and assess the status of ongoing developmental works under LCMA.

The meeting focused on various aspects of Dal and Nigeen lakes conservation and management, including the status of works under Capex, recurring activities under GIA, and the integrated management plan for the conservation program of the Dal and Nigeen lake ecosystem under CSS.

It was informed that out of 62 works taken up during 2024-25 under different heads, 26 works stand completed till date. During the review, plans in the pipeline were also reviewed. Concerned off...
