Srinagar, July 7 -- Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah recently chaired a review meeting of the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries sectors of Jammu & Kashmir, These sectors, long treated as supplementary to the primary economy, now demand serious attention-not as a matter of rural welfare alone, but as strategic growth engines for self-reliance and employment.
