Srinagar, Feb. 1 -- After the completion of the Kashmir rail link, the government has shifted its focus to providing train connectivity to Ladakh.
According to the details, an exercise to construct a railway track from Beri of Bilaspur to Manali-Leh has already commenced.
"Patna-based Skylark company has initiated railway track alignment and is conducting surveys. Using satellite-based mapping, the proposed track has been marked with cement towers in Baihna of Balh Valley," said a source.
"The company officials conducting surveys have generated enthusiasm among locals, who are eager to learn more about the ambitious railway project," he added.
