Srinagar, April 26 -- Vehicular movement on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway will remain suspended on Sunday to facilitate repair and widening work on the road.

The Traffic Police J&K, as per an advisory, said that to ensure the safety and well-being of the general populace, travellers, and drivers, and on the request of the NHAI, the District Magistrate Ramban, vide order no. ADMR/97-110 dated 26-04-2025, has accorded permission to the NHAI for widening the damaged road and undertaking necessary repairs.

"In view of the above, traffic will remain suspended between Nashri and the NAVYUG Tunnel from 08:00 AM on 27-04-2025 (Sunday) to 08:00 AM on 28-04-2025 (Monday)," the advisory reads.
