With the reopening of major tourist parks, including the iconic Betaab Valley, the town has once again started witnessing a steady flow of tourists - primarily from within the Union Territory - rekindling hope among local businesses and residents.
The attack earlier this year had sent shockwaves through the region, leading to a temporary closure of major recreational spots and a sharp decline in tourist footfall. However, with the security situation stabilizing and extensive safety measures in place, the administration reopened popular parks two weeks ago, following which the flow has been steadily increasing.
