SRINAGAR, Jan. 31 -- Class 8 student Mohammad Qais, a resident of Srinagar, had the privilege of meeting World No. 1 doubles tennis player Rohan Bopanna, who offered him an opportunity to train at his academy.

Expressing his happiness, Mohammad Qais said, "It was my pleasure to meet Rohan Bopanna. He assured me and my father that he will provide every possible help to train me."

"Rohan Sir assured me of every possible help and training and also offered me the opportunity to join his academy," he added.

Qais's father said that Bopanna had visited the region to support underprivileged children aged 8 to 10. "I came to know about his visit, and through the J&K Sports Council, my son got the privilege to meet him," he said.
