SRINAGAR, June 30 -- Senior-most photojournalists of the Kashmir valley were felicitated during a special ceremony marking the 37th anniversary of Tameel-i-Irshad, held in Srinagar.

The event saw the presence of Joint Director Information Shahnawaz Bukhari, senior official from the Press Information Bureau Majid Pandit, and Tameel-i-Irshad owner and Editor Akash Amin. The dignitaries jointly honoured the contributions of veteran photojournalists who have played a pivotal role in chronicling the region's history through their lens.

The ceremony underscored the vital role of visual journalism in shaping public discourse and preserving the cultural and political narrative of Jammu and Kashmir.
