SRINAGAR, April 7 -- On the occasion of World Health Day, Director of Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Ganaie, announced a major technological upgrade at the premier healthcare institution, including the procurement of cutting-edge medical equipment worth over Rs.50 crore.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Dr. Ganaie revealed that additional equipment valued at Rs.40 crore is expected to arrive in the coming months, with further requisitions totalling Rs.55 crore already submitted. These efforts aim to elevate SKIMS to world-class standards in patient care and clinical services.
