Srinagar, March 26 -- The Jammu and Kashmir administration has formally postponed the holiday for Shab-i-Qadr from March 27 (Thursday) to March 28 (Friday), 2025. The move was made in Government Order No. 412-JK(GAD) of 2025, released by the General Administration Department (GAD).

The alteration was done in partial amendment of previous orders (No. 2193-JK(GAD) and No. 2194-JK(GAD) of 2024), was issued by the office of the Lieutenant Governor and notified by M. Raju, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government.
