SRINAGAR, June 18 -- Secretary, Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, today chaired a review meeting to assess implementation of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

The review focused on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as employment generation, Aadhaar-Based Payment System (ABPS) coverage, timely wage payments, social audits and use of digital monitoring tools.
