Anantnag, March 21 -- Cabinet Minister Sakeena Itoo on Friday visited fire victims in Gajinag, Kadipora, Anantnag, assuring them of full government support.

"We have been sent by CM Omar Abdullah himself, and all possible assistance will be provided," she told the victims.

Itoo also pledged to work with the district administration on a concrete relief plan.

She was accompanied by legislators Altaf Kaloo, Abdul Majeed Larmi, and Peerzada Saeed, along with Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Syed Fakhrudin Hamid.

The officials assessed the damage caused by the massive fire, which destroyed around 20 residential houses in Old Town Gajinag Kadipora, leaving approximately 40 families homeless.
