Srinagar, June 11 -- Renowned Sufi folk singer and master Sarangi player, Ghulam Nabi Bulbul, of Dengiwacha Rafiabad Baramula, breathed his last after a brief illness, leaving behind a rich legacy in the realm of Kashmiri music and culture.
A revered figure in the cultural landscape of Jammu and Kashmir, Bulbul served as an artist in the Cultural Unit Kashmir, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), and retired as a Music Instructor. His soulful voice and command over traditional instruments, particularly the Sarangi, made him a beacon of folk music and dance across generations.
