Srinagar, May 24 -- Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Saturday said that Jammu and Kashmir is expected to witness a significant change in the prevailing weather pattern from today, offering relief from the ongoing spell of intense heat and dry conditions.

Director MeT Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad said that on May 24, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy with intermittent brief spells of rain and thundershowers across many areas of Kashmir division and scattered places in Jammu division. A few places may also experience gusty winds and intense showers.
