Replying to a question asked by MLA Tariq Hameed Karra, Minister In-Charge Jal Shakti Department informed the Legislative Assembly that a Detailed Project Report (DPR) amounting to Rs.161.201 crore has been prepared for providing, laying, testing, and commissioning of the Raw Water Main from Preng to Rangil to ensure uninterrupted water supply to Srinagar.

The minister further stated that while the Irrigation and Flood Control Department has granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC), the DPR has not yet been approved. The ...
