Srinagar, April 18 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast generally cloudy weather with light to moderate rain and snow in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir from April 18 to 20.

Moderate to heavy rain and snow are likely at isolated to scattered places, accompanied by thunder and gusty winds, especially from the evening of April 18 to the afternoon of April 20.

On April 21, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy with chances of light rain and thunder at scattered places. From April 22 to 28, dry weather conditions are expected across the region.
