Srinagar, Feb. 4 -- Police in Bandipora today organized an awareness programme on three new criminal laws at various educational institutions and public places in the District. This program aimed to enlighten the faculty, staff, and students about the latest developments in the Indian legal framework. The laws discussed included Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.

These programmes were chaired by respective jurisdictional police officers and attended by teachers, students, civil society members and general public of different areas of the district.
