URI, March 10 -- Parents of the students in Uri area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday urged authorities to introduce additional subjects at 10+2 level at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Uri.

A delegation of parents led by Aijaz Ahmad, stated that the school administration had already raised the matter with higher authorities, but no action had been taken so far.

"We demand the introduction of new courses at the school, including computer science, Biochemistry, and others," Ahmad said.

"This has been a long-pending demand of parents in Uri, yet it remains unaddressed. Introducing these subjects will provide students from this remote area with enhanced knowledge and better learning opportunities," he said....
