Srinagar, June 17 -- Leaving behind the fear factor, foreign tourists have started arriving to explore Kashmir.

This is for the first time since the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, foreigners from different countries have arrived inKashmir.

"Kashmiris are always smiling and welcoming. This year, three groups from my company are visiting, about 60 people in total. We're very happy to be here," said Carolina, a tourist from Poland.

After Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha ordered the opening of 16 tourist destinations, tourists are visiting famous places like Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam, and the Mughal gardens. Locals are happy to see the growing number of visitors, as it brings income and a sense of normal life returning.
