Srinagar, Jan. 30 -- Efforts are underway to complete the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the construction of a state-of-the-art gondola service at the popular South Kashmir tourist resort, Pahalgam. This project aims to enhance the resort's tourism potential, turn it into an all-season attraction, and reduce its reliance on summer visitors. The proposed cable car system will span approximately two kilometres, connecting Yatri Niwas to the Baisaran meadow. The project is being developed along the lines of the Gulmarg Gondola in North Kashmir.
