SRINAGAR, June 12 -- With an aim to enhance disaster preparedness and coordination among key stakeholders in the district, an orientation & coordination conference was held today at the DC office, Srinagar.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Aadil Fareed, who is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Srinagar presided over the event, while Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kashmir Irfan Qazi; Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Consultant DDMA, Amara Naseem; Consultant DDMA Srinagar, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat and other officials were present on the occasion.
