New Delhi, April 15 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said that the Waqf Amendment Act has targeted one particular religion and his party National Conference has moved the Supreme Court against it.
He emphasised the importance of equal treatment for all religions and awaited the Supreme Court's adjudication.
Omar also said that the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to challenge the Waqf Act.
