New Delhi, April 10 -- Late actor Om Puri's first wife, Seema Kapoor, has made a heartbreaking revelation about their marriage in a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan. Seema, who is the sister of actor Annu Kapoor, said Om Puri cheated on her while she was pregnant, and that the betrayal left her shattered.

She shared that the veteran actor began an affair with journalist Nandita Puri while shooting for City of Joy. "Everything was fine after our marriage, but that movie turned my life upside down," Seema recalled. Close friends, including Renu Saluja and filmmaker Sudhir Mishra, were aware of the affair but dismissed it as a phase.
