Srinagar, March 20 -- The week-long wet spell till March 16 in Jammu and Kashmir has ended the large deficit rainfall across 17 districts with Srinagar, the summer capital, among nine stations witnessing average rainfall during the last 19 days, starting from March 01 to March 19.

According to the details, overall Jammu and Kashmir has recorded a deficit of 16 percent rainfall during the period as against the average rainfall of 95.2mm, the region has recorded 80.2 mm precipitation.

As per the data, nine stations including Srinagar, Anantnag, Budgam, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Ramban, Kishtwar, Kulgam, and Kupwara have recorded average rainfall in the last 19 days. Bandipora in north Kashmir has recorded an excess rainfall of above 23 percen...
