Srinagar, Sept. 10 -- The Government of India on Wednesday ordered the posting of senior IPS officer Abdul Ghani Mir (AGMUT: 1994) to the Jammu & Kashmir segment of the Joint AGMUT cadre.

As per an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs reads, Consequent upon joining the cadre on repatriation from Central Deputation, Shri Abdul Ghani Mir, IPS (AGMUT: 1994) is hereby posted to Jammu & Kashmir segment of Joint AGMUT cadre with immediate effect and until further orders.

This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority, reads the order.
