SRINAGAR, June 16 -- Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar today distributed appointment letters to newly recruited Junior Assistants of the Rural Development Department (RDD) during a ceremony held at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.

Addressing a longstanding shortage of clerical staff that had affected field offices since 2021, the Minister handed over appointment orders to 35 candidates from the Kashmir division. The appointment ceremony was held in the presence of Secretary, RDD & Panchayati Raj, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, Director RDD Kashmir, Shabir Hussain Bhat, and Director Panchayati Raj, Sham Lal.
