New Delhi, April 7 -- A 19-year-old woman was knifed several times by a man in full view at the Kirbi Place bus stop in southwest Delhi, according to a police officer on Monday. The 20-year-old man later injured himself with the same knife.

The incident was reported to the police around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday by a passerby. "The girl sustained serious injuries to her neck and the left side of her abdomen. A knife was recovered from the scene. Both were hospitalised and are under treatment," the officer said.
