Srinagar, March 26 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast light to moderate rain and snow in Kashmir's higher reaches on March 26 and 27.

According to the MeT department, precipitation is expected mainly in north and central Kashmir, beginning from the afternoon of March 26 and continuing until night. Another spell is likely from the late afternoon of March 27 until night.

Weather conditions are expected to improve gradually after March 27, with dry weather predicted from March 28 to 31 and April 1 to 3.
