Srinagar, April 21 -- The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast light rain and thunderstorms across Jammu and Kashmir over the next few days, with brief wet spells expected particularly during the afternoon hours on April 24 and 25.

While weather will remain mostly dry on April 22 and 23, the MET Centre said there is a likelihood of scattered light rain, gusty winds, and thundershowers in parts of Kashmir and isolated pockets of Jammu Division on April 21 afternoon.

From April 26 to 30, the weather is expected to stay dry across the region.
