India, Jan. 10 -- National Security Advisor Ajit Doval called upon the youth of the country to reflect on India's long and painful history and draw inspiration from it to rebuild a strong, self-reliant nation rooted in its own values and beliefs.
Addressing the inaugural session of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, Doval said India's freedom was achieved after immense suffering, sacrifices and humiliation endured by generations of Indians. He reminded young people that independence did not come easily and urged them to channel the lessons of history into shaping the future of the nation.
