TEETWAL, June 14 -- A unique "Chalo LoC" bike rally from Kalady, Kerala - the birthplace of Adi Shankaracharya - reached the Line of Control (LoC) in Teetwal on June 12, marking the first such event after Operation Sindoor.
A group of 50 bikers, including six women, undertook the journey beginning June 1, covering over 3,600 km across seven states. They reached the historic Sharda Temple at the LoC on the day of Varshik Abhishek and performed puja, offering tarpan (ritual homage) for the victims of the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack. The bikers rode 26 Royal Enfield Bullets, symbolising the 26 tourists who lost their lives in the carnage, carrying a message of "Bullets with Bullets."
