SRINAGAR, Jan. 29 -- Popular Kashmiri mimicry artiste Raina Ghulam Mohi-ud-din, popularly known as 'Kohinoor,' has secured the first rank in the Rising Legends Talent Hunt Championship 2025, an online competition featuring national and international participants.

"I am elated to have secured the top position in this championship, competing alongside talented artists from across the world," Raina told The Kashmir Monitor.

Hailing from Wussan, Kangan in Ganderbal district, Raina has built a reputation for his extraordinary ability to mimic over 1,400 sounds, ranging from insects and animals to musical instruments and mechanical noises.
