Srinagar, June 21 -- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Srinagar to discuss ways to strengthen Jammu and Kashmir's tourism sector. The meeting focused on improving infrastructure, promoting heritage and cultural sites, and helping local communities benefit from tourism-related jobs. Both leaders agreed that tourism remains a key area for economic recovery and cultural connection in the region.
