Srinagar, May 13 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will resume on May 17, with the final now set to take place on June 3. The tournament had been suspended last week due to escalating hostilities between India and Pakistan but is now back on track following a ceasefire agreement between the two nations.

According to the revised schedule, the league will recommence with Royal Challengers Bengaluru taking on Kolkata Knight Riders in Bengaluru. This will be followed by a double-header on May 18, with Rajasthan Royals facing Punjab Kings in Jaipur, and Delhi Capitals squaring off against Gujarat Titans in the national capital.
