Srinagar, April 18 -- Infosys has released 240 entry-level trainees after they failed to clear internal assessments, according to emails sent on April 18 and reviewed by Moneycontrol. This follows a similar move in February when over 300 trainees were let go under the same circumstances.
The company is offering affected individuals a free upskilling opportunity through partnerships with NIIT (for IT training) and UpGrad (for BPM roles). Those impacted will also receive one month's salary, accommodation, and travel allowance from the Mysuru training campus to Bengaluru or their hometown.
