New Delhi, May 12 -- Just a few hours before the proposed talks between Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan, the armed forces on Monday reiterated that all of India's military bases were secured, fully operational and prepared to take on any threat or mission against the country.
Addressing a joint press conference in New Delhi, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai (Army), Air Marshal AK Bharti (Indian Air Force), and Vice Admiral AN Pramod (Navy) , said, "India's fight was and will always be aimed at terrorists and terrorists' infrastructure in Pakistan, and not against the country's army or civilians."
