SRINAGAR, June 28 -- Jammu and Kashmir experienced a return of hot weather on Saturday, with Srinagar-the region's summer capital-recording a high of 32.3degC. This comes after a brief dip in temperatures accompanied by light, intermittent rain at isolated locations from June 25 to June 27.
According to an official from the local Meteorological Department (MeT), the weather is expected to remain unsettled, with a possibility of intermittent rain and thundershowers at scattered places continuing until June 30. The official further noted that similar weather patterns are likely to persist from July 1 to July 2.
