Srinagar, April 10 -- In a bid to decongest the busy Natipora-Barzulla corridor, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary on Wednesday informed the Legislative Assembly that the government is actively considering the construction of a Vehicular Underpass (VUP) at the bottleneck point.
The response came during Question Hour after MLA Chanapora, Mushtaq Ahmad Guroo, raised concerns over traffic chaos in the area, stating that vehicles are often forced to take the wrong lane from Barzulla Bridge to Rambagh, risking accidents and disruption.
