JAMMU, March 19 -- Minister for Social Welfare, Health and Medical Education, Sakeena Itoo, informed the House that the government is committed towards upliftment of the underprivileged population of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Minister was replying to a question raised by Nizamuddin Bhat.
She informed the House that the Social Welfare Department is committed for upliftment and welfare of the poor, disabled, old aged and sick population across the UT of J&K including Bandipora district through comprehensive schemes and initiatives.
