Srinagar, May 22 -- Google has started rolling out the beta version of Android 16 featuring its vibrant new user interface, according to 9to5Google. The update, part of the QPR1 (Quarterly Platform Release) beta, introduces Google's Material 3 Expressive design language, bringing refreshed visuals to the launcher, notifications, lock screen, and a redesigned quick settings page reminiscent of Apple's iOS.

QPR updates typically pack more features than routine monthly patches, and this particular release is no exception. While Android 16's full release is on the horizon, the QPR1 beta offers an early look at the design overhaul expected to launch officially this fall.
