SRINAGAR, March 26 -- Several upper reaches of Kashmir, including Zojila Pass, Sinthan Top, Sadhna Top, and Gurez, received fresh snowfall on Wednesday, while intermittent rain was recorded in the plains, including Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Meteorological Department (MeT) had earlier issued a yellow alert, predicting light to moderate rain and snowfall across the Union Territory for two days. As per the latest forecast, the wet spell is expected to continue until tomorrow, mainly affecting north and central Kashmir. However, from March 28 to April 3, the weather is likely to remain dry.
